CHURCH AND COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Bible School and Youth Ministry are held on each Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Please come out and enhance your spiritual growth.  No workbook is needed and Dr. John Middleton is our instructor.  Youth Ministry meets at the same time in Church Fellowship Hall.

Sunday School classes will be cancelled until further notice due to the renovations for the educational building.  All Sunday School students are asked to join us in the Sanctuary for Sunday worship.

Choir rehearsals this week:

       Male Choir - Tuesday @ 6:00 pm

Mass Choir - Wednesday immediately after Bible School/Focus on Prayer

Please join Pastor Jacobs for a time of prayer on each 3rd Sunday at 3:00 pm.

Pastor Jacobs and Bro. Samuel will be attending the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago this week in preparation for upcoming mission trips to Haiti and Kenya.  Please pray for their safe return.

Graduating Seniors will be recognized on the 2nd Sunday in June during the 11:00 am worship service.

Youth Ministry is starting a "Care Package" Ministry for young adults in college or serving in military.  They are prayerfully asking your support through your prayers and donations of the following items:  Uplifting cards to encourage, signed by you; soap or body wash (women, men or neutral); 4-pack of toilet paper, small size washing detergent powder, gift cards to ease the daily expenses ($5.00-$20.00 value from McDonald's, Subway, Walmart, Publix, etc.).

The 50+ Ministry is sponsoring an Aluminum Can Collection Drive.  Please save all soda cans, aluminum foil and vegetable cans.  Place items in plastic bags with vegetable tin cans or place in the receptacle in the downstairs Fellowship Hall.  For more information, please contact Bro. Herman Brown at (352) 237-2781 or (352) 843-0399.
